Cars are now being broken into via relay attacks where the signal from your key fob is lifted allowing your doors to be opened and in some cases, even start your car.
We don't want this to happen to you, especially in a time of uncertainty.
So? Let's gear you up with a simple tool that curbs this threat.Higher-end patented extra small Faraday sleeve designed perfectly to match the aesthetics of your car.
I gave my kids a key fob faraday sleeve for Christmas and hope they use them! I use mine when I’m on the road. Well made, the leather is nice to the touch, and they work. Great product. I really love my wallet too.
yep, it works on my volvo. the first two i bought from different vendors did not work. So i was very very happy when this one actually did. Put the key in the faraday bag. locked the bag in the glove compartment. tried to start the car, got "key not present" message on the dash. Perfect!!
Very nice and fast answer on support request and a friendly help.
Just received this product yesterday and it works as described by the manufacturer. It has solved my problem of accidentally opening my truck and unlocking my car doors, when the FOB is in my pocket. I purchased the small version, which fits my FOB and a few keys. If you have a lot of other keys, you may consider the larger version. One solution is to keep your other key seperate from your FOB. For me this is taking some time adjusting to. I rated a four star for durability because I am waiting to see how it holds up after a few months. I would recommend this product.
This is the second key fob protector I've bought in the past year. A lot of the ones you find on Amazon don't have a secure way of closing the protector - just a flimsy elastic bandy thing, and are only available in black, which makes them harder to find if you drop or misplace the protector. And that's exactly what happened with my first one. I dropped the protector in our yard by accident at night (luckily the key wasn't in it) and didn't find it again until a few weeks later. By which point it was musty and dirty from being out in the humidity for so long. I put it in the wash, only to discover that washing it destroyed the shielding.
The Silent Pocket protector meets all three criteria (well 2 out 3 for sure, anyway). It's available in a range of colors, and seems to be well made. The durable canvas material has a quality feel, and I was able to verify that it works as advertised. With the key in the protector (you have to slip it inside the bronze-ish shielded pocket) and the cover snapped shut, I couldn't open my car even from 1 foot away. Even with the cover open, the key wasn't being recognized. Sweet!
The clasping mechanism is really nice. It snaps shut and holds the protector closed more securely than competing products that just have an elastic band. It adds a quality touch and works really well. What's more is that there are two more snaps on the back, which allow you to essentially fold the protector in half to make it more compact.
Totally satisfied. Using everyday. Also there are enough place for id and couple cards. And that thing doing it's job properly. Blocking all signals.
